Tribe alive
A program explore how the tribes of the island use its natural resources.
We produced the show packaging for Discovery’s “Tribe Alive.” The opening title introduces each of the six tribes and depicts their “faith and worship, food and life, and architectural craftsmanship.”
我們替 Discovery《臺灣部落寶藏》製作節目包裝。片頭各別介紹六個部落，紀錄「信仰祭祀、飲食生活、建築工藝」。
We focused on Paiwan and Atayal construction techniques, Taroko hunters, Rukai festivals and ceremonies, Paiwan snakes and pottery urns, Amis fishing methods, and Dawu marine culture. We also used collages to embody the fusion of multiple tribes.
針對排灣族與泰雅族的建築工藝、太魯閣族的獵人、魯凱族的節慶與祭典、排灣族的百步蛇與陶甕、阿美族的捕魚法、達悟族的的海洋文化加以著墨。並以拼貼手法呼應多元部族的融合。
