Break the limit
A journey of Taiwan breaking dancer.
Ｗho’s name is Quake.
Instead of completing the film’s graphics in advance, we improvised and produced images at the spur of the moment so that the whole film coincides with the free and unrestrained state of mind of a dancer while dancing. The images were intentionally deconstructed, and many tags were included, such as Taiwanese scenic streets, graffiti, brushes, computer noise, etc., to produce one-of-a-kind overloaded pictures.
影片動態上跳過事先設定平面美術的流程，改以當下的感覺來即興發揮製作，讓整支影片符合跳舞時自由又無拘的心境。在畫面上刻意做破壞又加入大量Tag、台灣風景街道、塗鴉、筆刷、電腦雜訊等元素，藉以構建獨特超載的畫面。
In December 2020, the Olympic Games included breakdancing as an official competition event, and dancer Quake Chan will represent Taiwan at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Director Frankie Li entrusted us to complete the opening titles to her documentary “Break the Limit Tear Down the High Wall.”
2020年12月國際奧會將霹靂舞納入正式比賽項目中。選手孫振將代表台灣參加2024年巴黎奧運。受李祈悅導演委託，替她所拍攝的紀錄片《Break the Limit推倒高牆》製作片頭。
